Shipping: Please understand that your order will require a custom shipping quote. One will be provided to you by email within 2-3 business days. Payment for your order will not be processed until you agree to the quote. Reformers and large equipment shipments to the Continental USA and Canada are shipped via LTL freight carrier, secured to a wooden pallet. Buyer will be advised of available delivery options when placing an order, which may include a) Curbside, b) Time-critical, c) Inside Delivery, or d) Inside with Debris Removal. Curbside delivery is always quoted, unless otherwise specified. Freight quotes for international and overseas shipments include ocean freight to the nearest port; or Air Freight to nearest airport. Door-to-door delivery may be available at an additional charge. Please advise sales representative in advance of any special circumstances or needs to prevent any unexpected onsite charges from the delivery company.
Inspect Shipment: Upon delivery, Buyer (or Buyer’s appointed agent) is responsible for inspecting the order and noting any shipping damage to the outer box/skid on the carrier’s waybill, prior to signing for receipt of the order. Person signing for the order must be of legal age. Merrithew will not be responsible for any damage to the order that is not reported and noted on the waybill at the time of delivery. In the unlikely event that there is damage to the shipping cartons or contents, we recommend that you photograph prior and after opening. Warranty: All orders are assembled and shipped directly from the manufacturer and all equipment is under manufacturers warranty. Your order number will be required to commence your warranty. It will be provided to you from the Pilates Equipment Shop at time of delivery. The Warranty period begins on the invoice date of the original purchase. Repairs, replacements and refunds: Merrithew will, at its option, repair, or replace any of these parts, provided that these part(s) fail due to a defect in workmanship or materials.
Reformers and Large Equipment are custom made to order and may not be returned or exchanged for refund. If product is defective, Merrithew will repair or replace as per the product warranty. This may require product(s) be returned for inspection prior to sending out replacement product. REFORMERS AND LARGE EQUIPMENT LIMITED WARRANTIES Merrithew warrants that all new equipment is free of manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials, subject to the terms below. Parts repaired or replaced under the terms of this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
This warranty applies to equipment:
· while it remains in the possession of original purchaser and proof of purchase is demonstrated;
· if claims are made within the part-specific warranty period; and
· if upgrades are made as required by Merrithew.
This warranty shall be null and void if:
· equipment failure is a result of improper assembly, installation, or maintenance;
· the equipment is used for any purpose other than as intended, or is stored outdoors or in environments without adequate climate/humidity controls; or
· the equipment has been subjected to accident, misuse, abuse, improper service, or any modification not authorized by Merrithew.
This warranty does not cover damage to the finish of any equipment nor shipping charges, customs clearance fees (if applicable), nor any costs incurred in installing repaired or replacement parts shipped under the provisions of this warranty. Failure to change springs every two (2) years may void warranty.
